JOB SUMMARY
Analyze financial and credit information to evaluate the risk involved in extending credit to commercial borrowers. Assist the credit department (Credit Analysts, CCO and lenders) in evaluating, monitoring, and maintaining overall credit quality of loan portfolio.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Analyzing financial & credit information to make a general assessment of customers ability for repayment of financial obligations.
Conduct in-depth review of balance sheet and profit and loss statements for commercial loans or lines of credit, complete cash flow analysis, and prepare loan proposals for approval.
Provide feedback to lenders regarding financial position of borrower when preparing the cash flow analysis and financial statement review.
Review borrower projections regarding balance sheet and financial statement as well as industry data and outlook for the market area.
Monitor collateral exceptions, financial statement, tax returns, rent rolls, receivables, and other requested financial items for timeliness.
Assist external loan review firm during reviews if needed.
Prepare monthly and quarter-end loan reports for the CCO and Audit Committee.
Assist with preparing reports and documentation for Federal Home Loan Bank and available to provide information for FHLB audit if needed.
Assist with the ordering, tracking, reviewing, and retention of appraisals for the bank.
Assist in reviewing new loans, past due loans, and non-accrual loans to determine appropriate risk rating.
Complete work and meet deadlines as scheduled.
Assist and resolve questions for other employees when needed.
Ability to manage multiple items simultaneously.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
Associate or Bachelors degree in business related field (preferred accounting or finance) or commensurate experience
