ABOUT ACCESS CARE OKLAHOMA

Access Care Oklahoma offers skilled care and support to our patients, so they can live safely and independently in their own homes. We work directly with doctors to develop individualized care plans that our nurses, therapists, and aids follow to ensure our patients receive the best care possible to heal. In every interaction with our customers, we strive to demonstrate CARE, which stands for our core values of credibility, accountability, responsiveness, and empathy. To gain the trust and confidence of our patients, we work hard to show our competence and assume personal responsibility for our actions. We recognize that lives may be dependent on our willingness and ability to respond quickly, which is why we strive to understand the special needs of our patients and bring sunshine to their lives.

Our high quality of care would not be possible without the exceptional team we have working for us. They work hard to uphold our values and ensure that each patient is taken care of according to their individual needs. To show our appreciation, we work hard to create a supportive and fulfilling environment that helps our employees grow professionally and create long-lasting careers they can take pride in.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST

The typical week will involve:

  • Daily use of a cloud-based software to collect information about all our Network providers... medical licensure, status with regulatory agencies, liability coverage, etc., to ensure they meet all federal, state and payer requirements.
  • Then they will be monitoring this data over time... following up with practices if a certain license will be expiring soon, etc.
  • They will also help us in gathering required documentation from new practices signing contracts with our Network.
  • When we sign a new payer contract, they will be responsible for gathering all the supporting documentation required for the payer. So, I think there will be a big push as we get the initial information uploaded, then a slower period with just maintaining the data, then other bursts of time when a new contract is signed.
  • In addition to Access Care providers, they may do this for Care Pathways providers and other A Path of Care agencies as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years medical provider credentialing experience required.
  • Certification/Licensure: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) preferred.
  • Knowledge of provider credentialing and its direct impact on the CIN contracting and CIN participant practice's revenue cycle.
  • Detail oriented with above average organizational skills.
  • Plans and prioritizes to meet deadlines.

Office experience is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Can you balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management? Are you able to work well both independently and as part of a team? Do you consider yourself an exceptional problem solver? Are you reliable and responsible? If so, you might just be perfect for this position!
