Responsibilities:
- Review and process credentialing applications for healthcare providers
- Verify and validate provider credentials, including education, training, licensure, and certifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information in the credentialing database
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any credentialing issues or discrepancies
- Communicate with healthcare providers and external organizations regarding credentialing status and requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of credentialing policies and procedures
Experience:
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and managed care concepts
- Knowledge of credentialing standards and requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with credentialing software or databases
