Job Posting: Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC, CADC, or other certified substance use disorder counselor) for Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program.

About Us: We offer compassionate, comprehensive, and evidence-based care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders. We are currently expanding our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and looking for a dedicated Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC or CADC) to join our team.
Position Overview: The counselor will play a vital role in our MAT program, providing counseling and support to individuals receiving medication-assisted treatment for opioid and other substance use disorders. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to clients undergoing MAT.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate clients and their families about substance use disorders and the MAT process.
- Advocate for clients’ access to community resources and support services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with state regulations and confidentiality laws.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Valid CASAC, CADC, or other valid substance use disorder counselor certification.
- Knowledge of MAT protocols and experience working with clients receiving medication-assisted treatment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to the highest standards of patient care and confidentiality.
