This position requires you learn how to assemble permanent jewelry. This does require a steady hand and confidence. Plenty of training will be provided however, you must be open to learn this skill. There is also a $5 commission per piece of jewelry made so you would have the opportunity to make closer to $30 an hour including your commissions.
With this position, you will also have the opportunity to explore workshops, window and display merchandising, creating unforgettable memories with our guests, assembling jewelry + blessing beads + ornaments, gift wrapping, inventory organization, calligraphy, serving tea, styling our guests, painting, and more. We truly believe at Grit & Grace the World is Your Oyster and if there is some aspect of the business you are interested in exploring we will create an opportunity for cross training or continued education for a deep dive.

This role requires weekend availability Saturday-Sunday 7:45 am - 4pm OR 11am -7:15pm. We are open from 8 am - 7pm daily. Opportunity to work the Farmers Market @ Marion Square! Saturdays 7am-2:30pm We are looking for that ‘all in’ kinda energy!

Responsibilities
- Customer engagement and hosting our guests beautifully is the most important element of this role!
- Creating magical and memorable moments in our shop for our guests
- Bring joy to the day.
- Co Host workshops, events, and art openings.
- Jewelry making, gift wrap, ornament assembly.
- Performing Permanent Jewelry Services
- Assisting with displays and restocking the store.
