The Creative Project Manager will be a critical part of the team and will support the Integrity Strategy Manager, and Developer Experience in ensuring a best-in-class developer experience when it comes to key privacy and integrity requirements. Day-to-day operations include reviewing existing and creating new contracts, identifying gaps in developer education and experience, identifying solutions, and implementing them.
The Creative Project Manager is knowledgeable about our data policies and integrity compliance requirements and is obsessed with best-in-class experiences. They leverage a deep understanding of the developer ecosystems, compliance processes, integrity, and privacy requirements and focus on breaking that all down into a seamless and supported experience for third-party developers. The ideal candidate is curious, empathetic, principled, detail-oriented, and attuned to changing integrity and privacy requirements. Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, or coordinate Creative Projects with an external vendor.
- Oversee the communication between internal stakeholders and external vendors, and lead project milestones and deliverables.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze creative scope, technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
- Work closely with Policy, Privacy, Legal, Developer Relations Engineering, TPMs, and Comms teams to identify gaps in resources, education, and experience for third-party developers.
- Identify solutions for those gaps by working with relevant partners, and external vendors, and advocating for platform-level solutions to common issues.
- Support monthly reporting of sentiment scoring.
- Manage, produce, and distribute Voice of Developer monthly reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience generally supporting compliance programs.
- Experience managing confidential data.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Experience with producing metric-related reports, and utilizing dashboards for insights and data gathering.
- Experience managing and organizing multiple large document files with varying deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer knowledge and various programs such as google suite, excel, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with third-party developers.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience with data privacy, including GDPR, FTC, and risk/compliance management concepts in a global context.
- Experience working in a global, large-scale, complex, fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity.
- Experience in continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with the VR or gaming industry.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, liberal arts, legal or business-related field.
- Working in compliance or a regulatory environment.
- Experience in tech (preferred).
Typical day in the role:
- Connect with external vendors on project status, gather outstanding requirements, and follow up with internal stakeholders for required inputs.
- Gather insights from the previous month and put them into a report.
- Bring up an education opportunity to the team, gather alignment and next steps.
- Make updates to an existing published guide, and inform stakeholders.
- Participate in a team activity - regular meeting or Friday VR time as an example!
