This role will be a key contributor to future breakout moments, while also helping to shape and evolve the brand voice, look, feel, and strategy as we reach a mainstream audience and grow our brand equity into the future.
In this role you will:
- Build and evolve the AuditBoard brand to be durable, known, and loved across our key buyer audiences (Audit, Risk, InfoSec & Compliance) and the broader market.
- Be the leading creative thinker: responsible for driving "big picture" campaign ideas and bringing those campaigns to life. This includes (but is not limited to) advertising concepts and awareness executions aligned to "major moments" for AuditBoard.
- Help lead ideation for all brand marketing initiatives, including brainstorming/creative process and sessions to generate ideas.
- Manage freelance and creative agencies as needed.
- Proactively identify opportunities for and challenges to the brand, both visual and written, and help implement quality controls across platforms and channels.
- Work closely with the VP of Corporate Marketing, creative design and marcomm teams to create long-term plans for brand evolution and growth.
- Contribute ideas in cross-functional, channel-agnostic team setting.
- Maintain individual skills, keeping up to date with latest best practices, trends, and concepts for creative design and brand management.
- Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines, and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion.
- Be a top-tier communicator. This role will be advocating, educating, and building a new approach to brand for the business.
- Be a bar-raiser. Establish a new standard for brand equity and creative thinking across the marketing team and across the business.
Attributes for a Successful Candidate:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant brand or agency experience, with a minimum of two years leading creative concepting or managing a B2B SaaS brand.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
- A portfolio of creative work you can speak to the ideation behind.
- An understanding of, and experience in, delivering a brand to a market for the first time.
- Experience utilizing data and measurement to drive decisions.
- Integrated Marketing experience. Proven track record of driving campaigns across multiple channels.
- Strategic mindset and the ability to connect long-term vision to short-term objectives and initiatives.
- Great communicator engaging and influencing at all levels of organizational leadership.
- Skilled in: Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, digital style guide platforms, project management and review & approval software.
- Proactive, self-reliant and a strong focus on pushing the envelope with big ideas that move the needle.
