Creative Assistant

The ideal candidate for this position is a creative with great work ethic and flexible schedule that can help assist the photographer during client photoshoots and 2 days a week in office. No photography/camera knowledge is needed. However, a great personality and attention to detail is necessary.

The ideal candidate MUST:
* be able to think outside of the box and have an eye for detail
* have enthusiasm about the job and client satisfaction
* be a fast learner and be able to take direction
* be charismatic with excellent verbal communication skills
* have a basic understanding of social media marketing
* have reliable transportation

Candidates MUST be available on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays for photoshoots. Schedule and hours will differ from week to week depending on number of photoshoots scheduled. In office days are flexible and will depend on your personal schedule!

In office work includes managing social media accounts, updating website portfolio, SEO, and assisting with any projects as needed. Knowledge and experience with social media marketing and Wordpress preferred.

Photoshoot assistance includes recording behind the scenes video on iphone, holding lighting equipment, assisting with details during photoshoot, carrying gear, making client feel comfortable, and doing whatever is necessary to ensure that a photographic session runs smoothly. Most importantly, I will do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot, and I need an assistant that will do the same.

In addition, someone with either a sales background or interest in sales could discuss earning commission on direct sales for our sister graphic and web design company.

May lead to additional hours or full-time employment for the right person.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
