Role Description:

We are seeking a motivated and goal-oriented Crane Outside Sales Representative to join our fast-moving team. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our diverse crane fleet. This role involves generating new leads, closing sales, building and maintaining customer relationships, managing accounts, and providing ongoing customer support.

Primary Duties:

• Cultivate strong business-to-business relationships by selling short-term operated crane rental contracts to business contractors and companies in HVAC, mining, construction, and industrial service industries.
• Develop an understanding of target account structure and organization.
• Drive growth through direct sales activity and branch sales assistance.
• Assist customers in determining the best equipment for their projects, providing pricing strategies and project estimates.
• Participate in project handoff meetings with the Operations team to ensure a complete understanding of scope, estimate, contractual obligations, and job risks.
• Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
• Foster a teamwork-first attitude.

Qualifications and Preferred Candidate Requirements:

• 5 years of steady outside sales experience in the crane or equipment industry.
• Experience in the crane or construction industry.
• Sales and marketing skills with experience in B2B sales.
• Understanding of equipment or cranes.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record - Commercial Driver's License a plus.
• HS Diploma required, Bachelor's degree, or comparable experience in the field preferred.
• Strong goal orientation and customer service mindset.
• Self-starter with a friendly, teamwork-oriented attitude.
• Ability to generate new leads and close sales to meet revenue targets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills.
