Responsibilities and Duties
- Repair and inspect elevators, overhead cranes and hoists and other overhead lifting equipment to ensure equipment is compliant with manufacturers, OSHA, and ASME Standards.
- Interface with customers to create service and inspection programs and ensure full customer satisfaction in their execution.
- Communication between customers, Norrell management, evaluations, and repairs
Qualifications and Skills
- Significant experience with electrical control circuits for three phase and single-phase power
- Strong experience regarding equipment modifications, including VFD retrofits, radio remote installs, motor and gear replacements, hydraulic to electrical braking retrofits, and bar to festoon conversions.
- PLC knowledge a plus
- Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
- Motor repairs a plus
- Hydraulic Crane experience a plus
- Machining and welding skills a plus
- Mechanical gearing knowledge
- Experience in solid state / magnetic motor control AC/DC
- Installation of Overhead Lifting Associated equipment; electrification, ASCE Rail, hoists and cranes, elevators (structures a plus)
Experience and Education
- 3+ years of experience performing the listed skills and knowledge on similar type equipment.
- Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
- Must pass drug and background check.
- Must be comfortable working in tight spaces and at heights.
- Some heavy lifting will be required.

- 3 year(s): 3+ years of experience performing the listed skills and knowledge on similar type equipment.
Preferred
- 3 year(s): Installation of Overhead Lifting Associated equipment; electrification, ASCE Rail, hoists and cranes, elevators (structures a plus)
- 3 year(s): Experience in solid state / magnetic motor control AC/DC
- 3 year(s): Mechanical gearing knowledge
- 3 year(s): Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
