Job Description: We are currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. The Dispatcher will play a crucial role in coordinating the dispatch of cranes and skilled workers to various job sites. This position requires excellent organizational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate Crane Dispatch:
- Efficiently schedule and dispatch cranes to job sites based on project requirements and equipment availability.
- Prioritize and optimize crane deployment to maximize productivity.
Worker Assignment:
- Assign skilled workers to job sites, ensuring the right personnel are matched with the specific job requirements.
- Maintain clear communication with field personnel to provide instructions, updates, and support.
Communication:
- Be a point of contact between clients, field personnel, and management.
- Relay important information regarding job details, schedules, and any changes to the relevant parties.
Computer Literacy:
- Utilize computer system Fleet Cost & Care and software for efficient dispatch operations.
- Input and update data related to job assignments, equipment availability, and worker schedules.
Fleet Cost & Care:
- Experience with Fleet Cost & Care software is a plus. Use the system to manage equipment maintenance schedules, track costs, and ensure the optimal performance of the fleet.
Problem Solving:
- Address and resolve any issues that may arise during dispatch, such as equipment malfunctions or unforeseen challenges.
- Implement contingency plans to maintain project timelines.
Requirements:
- Dispatch experience or a similar role, preferably in the crane industry is a plus.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Familiarity with Fleet Cost & Care software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of crane operations is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
