Washington County Clerk’s Office is currently accepting applications for County Historian on a permanent, part-time basis. While under the general direction of the County Clerk, this position assists in the location, preservation and dissemination of historical data to the general public. Ability to perform a variety of clerical tasks, attention to detail, ability to follow oral instructions and effective communication skills are requirements for the position.
Suggested Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma (GED), and two (2) years of paid or volunteer experience in conducting historical research, archival records work, genealogy, or related experience.
Rate of Pay: $18.31/hour (no benefits provided)
