Form of workUnitedLex is seeking an attorney to support UnitedLex's growing in-house legal team. This role's primary responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and revising complex commercial agreements, issue spotting, and assessing and communicating potential risks to appropriate key stakeholders. The role will also handle other tasks assigned for a busy corporate legal department, and could involve legal research, document and policy drafting, and memo preparation.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant legal experience, with experience in contracts review and a solid understanding of the legal support services market. This role may communicate with internal UnitedLex team members from every department and at every level of the business as well as UnitedLex clients and should have excellent written and verbal communication skills. This role will be exposed to sensitive client and UnitedLex confidential information from time to time and should demonstrate the utmost discretion.

Responsibilities
- Draft and revise buy and sell side agreements including agreements for the sale of legal support services, SaaS agreements, licensing agreements, leases, staffing agreements, and contracts for the procurement of other goods and services as necessary.
- Identify issues and Escalate contractual issues for review and approval by internal stakeholders.
- Understand and clearly communicate contract significance and summarize relevant negotiations as necessary to secure internal approvals.
- Collaborate creatively with key UnitedLex team members to maximize contractual efficiency and minimize risk.
- Perform legal research and memos on issues as assigned
- Prepare other legal and business documents to support the organization
- Support other members of the legal team as requested in serving the organization as necessary from time to time.
Qualifications
- J.D. with a minimum of 2 years' legal experience, contract review and complex commercial agreements preferred.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing initiatives while working in a fast-paced, global environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with legal support services and solutions.
- Experience with privacy and security matters is preferred, but not required.

Salary Range
The salary range for this role reflects the range of factors that inform case-by-case compensation decisions including education, experience, training, licensure, certification, and geography as well as the business and organizational needs specific to the role. Compensation ranges may be broad, reflecting flexibility within the budget and title to consider candidates of varied experience. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role is $75,000 to $100,000. This position is eligible for Incentive Compensation in the form of our Annual Performance Bonus Program.
