Key Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of a physician's orders, you will assess, treat, and diligently document patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) or equivalent in the state where services are provided.
• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Previous experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Occupational Therapy principles, interventions, and therapeutic techniques.
• Ability to assist in implementing treatment plans and interventions effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
• Empathy, patience, and a client-centered approach in working with individuals of all ages.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation software.
