SalaryJob Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services to patients with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients - Provide therapeutic interventions and exercises to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities - Monitor and document patients' progress during therapy sessions - Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as needed - Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for performing therapeutic exercises at home - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Requirements: - Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program - Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred - Familiarity with acute care settings is a plus - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team If you are passionate about helping others and making a positive impact on people's lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.
