Position: Cost Accounting Manager - Construction Services
Location: Western Minneapolis Suburbs
Compensation: $110K to $125K + Bonus
Our Opportunity
The Cost Accounting Manager will oversee the day-to-day project accounting operations for our expanding construction services division. As a member of the company's corporate finance team, this position will play a vital role in aligning operations by optimizing project financials.
Key duties include:

• Manage and supervise the financial aspects of ongoing projects, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage financial analysis on project performance, work in progress, and job costing to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide oversight to billing processes and revenue recognition.
• Provide job status reporting to operators on a regular basis, and work with controller to compute monthly over/under billing accruals.
• Analyze and interpret financial results and report findings to management.

Ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 6+ years progressive project accounting experience
• Construction experience
• Ability to travel to regional locations up to 25%
