What's a typical day as Cost Accounting Coordinator? You'll be:
• Generating and reviewing reports for Cost Accountants using Diamond Systems Reporting, SAP, MS Access, and MS Excel.
• Investigating and resolving variances in product cost estimates (PCE) on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Creating and maintaining accounting segments on requests received through the CMT tool or functional mailbox.
• Coordinating and reconciling inventory counts using the paper reconciliation process.
• Processing manual journal entries and creating miscellaneous invoices.
• Recovering cost centers, processing service billing, and settling internal orders.
• Generating cost center budget reports.
• Monitoring, resolving, and escalating Robotics Process Automation (RPA) issues as needed.
• Representing the CAEC team on new projects, work process changes, work process improvements, Robotics Process Automation, etc., participating with other Finance and Cost Accounting teams.
• Communicating and following up with key stakeholders.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma
• Have an Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent work experience (preferred)
• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
• Have at least 2 years of experience in Finance or in accounting field
• Have experience with SAP (preferred) and MS applications such as ACCESS, EXCEL, and WORD
