Cost Accounting Administrative Associate

The Position: The Cost Accounting Associate, under the direction of the Controller, is responsible for providing administrative support to Cost Accounting team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Reviews all Bills-of-Materials (BOM) for trailer orders set up. Ensures the BOM's are correct regarding cost of material and as well as the structure of all assemblies in the BOM.
• Reviews standard costs and inputs new standard costs on new parts.
• Reviews standard hours for trailers are accurate.
• Tracking order sales and order status daily.
• Order completion lists weekly and monthly.
• Data entry
• Various reports as directed by controller.
• Other duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS)

• Education: High school graduate, Accounting degree preferred
• Skills: Previous clerical experience required.
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail is critical.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Computer proficient with experience working in excel and setting up spreadsheets.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Team player
• Cost accounting experience a plus but not required
• Travel: None

• Office and plant environment.
• Keyboarding, lifting, standing, bending, walking.
