Responsibilities

·         Cost Control Systems: Design and manage cost control systems, including maintaining cost models.

·         Cost Audits and Reporting: Interpret cost audits and prepare cost accounting reports for management. Assist with sales price and profit analysis for ongoing projects.

·         Cost Discrepancies: Identify and investigate costs that deviate from projected values.

·         Journal Entries: Prepare journal entries related to inventory use, allocations, and work-in-process.

·         Cost Analysis: Advise staff on cost analysis and fiscal allocations. Compare costs to previous periods, creating comparative reports and trend analyses.

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

·         At-least 3 years of previous experience preferred.

·         Working knowledge of integrated accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.

Salary: $65K-$80K
