SalaryOur Manufacturing client seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cost Accountant to join it's team in the Ansonia area. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our cost accounting system and processes. Essential Functions:
- Prepare and analyze cost reports and financial statements.
- Develop and maintain standard cost models and inventory valuation methods.
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs and expenses.
- Review bill of materials and collaborate with operations to optimize cost efficiency.
- Conduct inventory counts and variance analysis, maintain fixed assets schedule.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent 6 yesrs of experience.
- Proven experience in cost accounting and bills of materials.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
