Title: Corporate Vice President of Finance

Location: Huntsville, AL

Industry: Residential Construction **prior experience required

Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee financial strategies to drive profitability and growth across all divisions and aspects of our residential construction operations.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks.
• Oversee financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership and board of directors, supporting decision-making and resource allocation.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance function to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance leadership experience in the residential construction industry.
• Proven track record of driving financial performance and delivering results in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to the construction industry.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a strategic mindset.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience in building and developing high-performing teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
