Job Description
The Corporate Tax team is responsible for the preparation and submission of Corporate Tax filings. The role will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of service delivery in line with agreed timelines.
You must ensure that all company policies are adhered to. You must also ensure that duties are carried out within set time limits whilst providing an excellent level of service to all Informa customers and colleagues.
Informa takes the security and privacy of company, colleague and customer data seriously and you are responsible for working securely and supporting this within your duties.
This is a hybrid position working from our Sarasota, FL office 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
The Corporate Tax Accountant is expected to assume some of the following key responsibilities plus any other reasonable duties as required:
- Prepare federal Corporate Tax returns.
- Prepare state tax returns, including single and combined filings.
- Prepare federal and state partnership returns.
- Prepare state apportionment workpapers and calculate state modifications.
- Calculate and review state quarterly estimated tax payments and annual extensions.
- Prepare tax account reconciliations in Blackline.
- Assist in year-end tax provision preparation.
- Compile data for tax audits, as needed.
- Research and respond to tax notices from various jurisdictions, as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
- 1-2+ years Corporate Tax preparation experience.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Experience using CorpTax and/or OneSource a plus.
- Solid grasp of general accounting concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
- Team player with positive attitude.
The salary for this role is $67,000 - $82,000 depending on experience
