Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is an Indiana based television and radio company founded on a commitment to their employees, community, and innovation. Along with seven radio stationslocated in Indiana, the company owns KTVN-TV Reno and WRCB-TV Chattanooga. All are leaders, serving their hometowns with award winning news, sports, and entertainment programming.

Sarkes Tarzian is looking for a Corporate Recruiter. This position requires the ability to perform full lifecycle recruitment for open positions while building and maintaining excellent relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and business partners. The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for hiring commission, salary and hourly roles including reporters, producers, and photojournalist. Some roles will have a starting pay of $18/hour. The ideal candidate will be inthe Indianapolis/Bloomington, Chattanooga, or Reno area but other areas will be taken into consideration.

Responsibilities include the ability to:

• Develop ongoing, proactive hiring manager and candidate relationships to build pipelines and recruit passive diverse candidates. • Source, screen, prequalify, interview, and evaluate candidates to determine their competencies and qualification for employment, and provide feedback on the skill and cultural fit.• Provide project management as applicable.• Prepare recruiting metrics for sourcing team and customers.• Track effectiveness of sourcing methods and makes recommendations on continuous improvement efforts to meet recruitment goals; actively influence improvements in existing sourcing/ recruiting processes.• Build relationships with local colleges and associations to build pipelines for future openings.

Minimum Knowledge and Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred but not required• A minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience to fill various levels and positions within a corporate environment as well as ability to manage candidates throughout the selection process.• The ability to screen candidates utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques.• General understanding of the entire recruiting process.• Develops an understanding of direct candidate sourcing, with proven ability to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.• Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and HR compliance and regulations. • Above average customer service focus as well as impeccable engagement, follow-through, and adaptability while meeting clients’ needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,936.00 - $65,641.00 per year
