2150 - 2189 - Corporate QA Manager - Document Control and Training Focus
Come join our great team! Global medical device manufacturer, DeRoyal, has an immediate opening for a Corporate Quality Assurance Manager.
The ideal candidate will manage Quality Management System documents to ensure control of procedures, protocols, forms and attachments. Maintains all levels of documentation to ensure revisions are current and issued appropriately. Maintains external standard documents including AAMI, ANSI, ISO, IEC, and others. Manages purchasing, review of these standards for necessary changes within Quality Management System procedures and issuance.
Provide support to the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance to regulations for regulatory requirements. Oversees required Training. Provide assistance on various department projects, including but not limited to the following functions:
Oversees Quality Management System document control process. Ensures new procedures and protocols, forms are reviewed for approvals and issued in controlled manner. Receives and processes change requests from departments and employees. Completes review of change requested to determine validity. Processes change requests and manages document control and issuance.
Oversees Training of new documents and major changes. This includes conducting the training, or coordination with the process owner, to ensure required departments and positions are provided training on new and changed documents.
Maintains all external certificates to ensure the original is maintained for retreival. Works with website development team to ensure current certificates are available on www.deroyal.com.
Maintains the documents of external origin / standards library. Assists as necessary with ordering and updating of Standards. Disposes of obsolete Standards.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Ability to use fax machine, office copier and personal computer required. Must have experience using various computer software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate’s Degree required, or minimum of 2 years related Administrative experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
