ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Share in our mission and vision.
- Identify and close new business to meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
- Individual contributor who can grow pipeline utilizing creative ideas for lead generation.
- Attend networking events to develop and maintain new professional relationships.
- Monitor marketplace, including local and national sports and entertainment properties to best drive long term partnership opportunities while executing against short-term go-to-market sales strategies.
- Document and track sales pipeline and process through CRM maintaining extremely organized notes.
- Prepare term sheets and sales decks and be confident in presenting sales pitches that tell a story and meet partner’s objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, ideate and maximize cross-selling opportunities and share new ideas.
- Identify and create new inventory to maximize revenue and partnership opportunities.
- Report on, analyze, and make recommendations to improve and maximize efficiency and effectiveness of sales process and strategy.
- Entertain prospects and key stakeholders on game day.
- Other duties assigned as business needs evolve.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2+ years of successful corporate partnership sales experience for a team/property.
- Proven track record in closing long-term, six or seven figure integrated partnerships.
- High level relationships at large companies, particularly ones with existing sports sponsorship portfolios.
- Demonstrates confidence using sales materials and market insights to craft sales narrative and communicate partnership benefit to prospects with an emphasis on translating data into partner value.
- Exceptional at building new relationships.
- Professional, positive, and proactive with an optimistic team attitude and competitive desire to overachieve.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and solutions orientated.
- Desire and ability to take on responsibilities in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Ability to meet challenging sales objectives in competitive marketplace.
- Demonstrate creativity in the development on long-term strategic relationships.
- Available for game day and other events (often outside of traditional business hours).
- Passion for the success of Women’s Professional Sports.
- Advanced applied knowledge of MS Office suite.
