Bachoco OK Foods is seeking an Onboarding Specialistto work in the Corporate Recruiting Department in Fort Smith, AR.  
 
Summary: The Onboarding Specialist provides onboarding support by assisting recruiters, hiring managers and new employees with the onboarding process. This position acts in support of all recruiting efforts and is responsible for administering programs, ensuring compliance in hiring, and working with internal customers to fill their administrative hourly and salaried positions. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Facilitate a flawless new hire on-boarding process for new and existing candidates
  • Act as a key contact for all issues related to on-boarding and monitors progress, works with employee when needed to oversee on-boarding efforts. Also, includes interdepartmental communication with Administration, and credentialing to ensure a smooth hiring process for the new candidates
  • Send out new hire welcome packets containing required payroll forms, i-9s, benefits information, and other basic company information.
  • Provide continual professional contact with the new hire on instruction for each onboarding requirement
  • Coordinate and track pre-employment screening requirements such as background checks, drug screens.
  • Act as a resource for new employee's general questions.
  • Ensure all required onboarding paperwork is complete and filed
  • Work closely with recruiting and HR department
  • Manage electronic new hire Onboarding system.
  • Facilitate MIS tickets to assist hiring managers with EE SF set up and equipment needs and train administrative employees on their accesses
  • Schedule department onboarding schedule with hiring manager and department peers (2 week plan)
  • Provide support in evaluation follow up and check points.
  • Performs work in support of Bachoco OK Foods’ employment policies and programs.
  • Responsible for ensuring all new and replacement positions have been approved through the requisition process
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Cross training for other duties as follows:
  • Posting jobs, consistent review of applicant flow, and submissions to hiring managers for review and selection.
  • Manage interview process to include travel, scheduling of candidate phone screens and interviews, candidate expenses, and maintaining records of interviews and feedback from hiring managers and other interviewers.
 
Qualifications:
  • Current or previous experience working in a Recruiting, Training, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a corporate office environment or staffing agency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Previous experience building processes and analyzing data.
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers.
 
Education and Experience: Bachelor'sDegree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Must be able to create and edit letters, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Language Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting/classroom facilitation and presentation.  Ability to adjust communication skills to all levels within the organization.  Ability to collect and analyze data, write reports, business communications and publications. Bilingual English / Spanish preferred. 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference as it relates to metrics and data analysis. 

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully performing this job.  Regular sitting, usage of hands to finger, handle, or fell; reaching with hands and arms.  Speaking and hearing on a regular basis.  Frequent walking and standing.  Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.  Lifting or moving of 10 lbs. and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.

Work Environment: The work environment is representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Regular work environment is in an office setting with a low noise level and controlled climate.   Occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, and moderate to high noise levels.
