DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Work under the Director of Asset Reliability to analyze storeroom data to better understand and improve upon issues relating to duplicate parts, slow moving inventory, and safety stock analysis. Collect and catalog pictures of each of our part numbers to support customer experience in looking for spare parts. Work with Plant Maintenance to tag company assets.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and support computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) by inputting inventory pictures and maintenance data into SAP.
- Document and photograph all spare parts inventory in the storerooms, recording parts numbers, quantities, and other information as directed.
- Assist with tagging manufacturing equipment in each manufacturing facility/warehouse to improve asset tracking across the company.
- Document all duplicate inventory at each facility to help consolidate and eliminate redundancy.
- Inspect parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.
- Assist in the development of predictive, preventive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs, including maintenance check sheets, predictive maintenance techniques, and related engineering analyses.
- Assist with designs and help implement modifications to existing systems.
- Maintain necessary and sometimes complex records and documentation, preparing management reports as assigned to report maintenance KPI's.
- Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Support all safety, food quality and sanitation initiatives and policies.
- Follow SugarCreek safety rules and procedures.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
Experience: None required.
Certification or Licensure Requirements: None required.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
No unusual physical requirements. Physical requirements are consistent with typical MRO positions, including some sitting with some standing/walking required. Other light physical activity like using stairs or occasionally moving items weighing less than 30lbs may be required as needed. Some travel may be required in between plants.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Some travel to other locations is required.
Some work is performed in a comfortable, indoor, office-like facility. Some work is performed in an indoor, manufacturing facility with close proximity to heavy and hazardous machinery. Safety wear is required, including hard hat, hairnet, hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toe boots, coats, and other necessary equipment. Very little work is performed outside of the manufacturing facility.
