Position description:
The Corporate Communications Intern will work primarily as a marketing content writer for Reynolds and several Reynolds-owned brands (KeyTrak, AppOne, MOGO, and others), including but not limited to blogs, editorials, emails, and columns. Other responsibilities will include proofreading and editing duties as requested for Corporate Communications projects at large, as well as various other duties as assigned. The Intern may also work on internal company communications, such as event and promotion announcements and articles, to be featured on the company's internal site, ReynoldsWorld.
Requirements:
- Currently an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or related fields
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong spelling, grammar, proofreading, editing, and word-processing skills (knowledge of AP style a plus)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Must enjoy writing - this is a writing-intensive internship
- Ability to absorb and apply an editor's constructive criticism
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized
- Ability to work approximately 30-35 hours per week
