Corporate Director of Fleet Services
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Pay Range: $90k-$110k
Priority Ambulance, one of the largest ambulance services in the country operating in thirteen states with a fleet of over 500 vehicles is recruiting for a Corporate Director of Fleet Services. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will provide oversight and support to company fleet service departments in our operations across the country.
Candidates must have at least five (5) years’ experience in managing a large, multisite fleet maintenance operation. Must be knowledgeable in shop and fleet safety. Experience with FLEETIO software is helpful. Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Position can be based in Knoxville, TN; Atlanta, GA or Scottsdale, AZ. Competitive compensation and benefits.
Position Details:
- Under the direction on the COO provides oversight, support, advice and assistance to local fleet maintenance and repair activities of local operations within Priority Ambulance family of companies. Assists Regional Presidents and local market leaders with same.
- Develops and reports on key fleet metrics and analytics to corporate and local operations management staff.
- Supports Corporate Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Director of Safety regarding vehicle and fleet product safety related warning and recalls.
- Supports Corporate General Counsel and Corporate Director of Safety regarding vehicle accident documentation and investigations.
- Supports Corporate Director of Purchasing and Vice President of Manufacturing, OnDemand Specialty Vehicles regarding technical specifics for fleet vehicles, fleet equipment and fleet supplies.
- Acts as national system administrator and system trainer for WEX/COMDATA fuel card systems.
- Acts as national system administrator and system trainer for FLEETIO fleet maintenance software system.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to type/keyboard at least 30 WPM.
- Must have a working knowledge of personal computers.
- Must be licensed with the appropriate level of state motor vehicle operators license.
- Must have a clean driving record as approved by company vehicle liability insurer.
- Must have the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, using good judgement.
- Must have good project management skills and be able to simultaneously work on multiple projects.
- Must have training and knowledge of automotive shop procedures for the proper disposal of waste oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, antifreeze and other automotive liquids.
- Must have training and knowledge of automotive shop safety procedures including SDS, proper use of PPE, safe use and storage of flammable liquids and the proper disposal of rags and other waste contaminated with oil or other flammable liquids.
- Must have training and knowledge in management of fuel card systems (WEX, COMDATA, Other).
- Must have at least five (5) years experience in managing a large, multisite fleet maintenance operation.
- ASE Certification as Master Mechanic or completion of certification within one.
- EVT Certification (Ambulance Technician) and EVT Certification (Fleet Management) or completion of certification within one year of hire.
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in technology or business management preferred.
