As the copywriting expert supporting the Berkeley Life brand, you will be an ambassador for Berkeley Life’s brand story across our channels with resonant content that educates and converts. You will be required to strategize, educate, and drive conversion using industry best practices..
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Writing and self-editing blog posts that are engaging, actionable, and SEO-optimized
· Creating social media caption content aligned to developed visuals, keyword and content strategy
· Review insights from e-commerce team on conversion metrics from website and quickly create and test new web copy iterations
· Create compelling and conversion-focused copy for additional web pages as needed
· Compose value-add email journeys for use throughout our consumer funnel with an eye toward education and compelling call-to-action
· Deconstruct dense, often scientific concepts into easy-to-grasp materials and tools for the sales team and the providers using our product
· Research and understand technical concepts and be able to explain them in simple terms
· Help construct abstracts for submission of brand thought leaders to conference organizers for main-stage content consideration
· Assist in development with copy on presentations as needed
· Support influencer accounts with scripts and talking points for use on social and across consumer touchpoints, including recorded ad spots
Technical Skills:
· 2-3 years’ experience as a Copywriter or Content Writer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of written materials.
· Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and purposes.
· Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
· Experience developing and deploying compelling emails campaigns that are proven to convert.
· Ability to take direction and feedback to quickly iterate, as well as graciously provide direction and feedback to others.
· Understand how to shift a message as it changes audience from B2B to B2C.
· Experience in the healthcare or wellness industry a plus.
· Excellent project manager and communicator to ensure all projects are tracking forward.

· Basic SEO: You understand what SEO is and why it’s important. You know how to research keyword volume and search intent and how to effectively use keywords in your content without keyword stuffing.
· Basic HTML: You can use the text editor in WordPress to add link attributes and do basic formatting of lists, subheadings, etc. with HTML.
· Time Management: You’re able to juggle multiple tasks and projects and prioritize your work effectively to meet all deadlines.
· Marketing Experience: You have a compelling portfolio that demonstrates high-quality copywriting and imaginative headlines within a variety of advertising campaigns and digital content.

REMOTE: This role is remote but required to work on the continental U.S. workday; 9am-6pm on PST, UTC, CST, or EST, depending on your location. Periodic travel may be required.
