HairClub is searching for a contract copywriter, this role is fully remote
Develop and lead creative strategies: Create compelling written content for various marketing channels, including website copy, press releases, blog posts, video scripts, social media, emails, digital and print ads. Be adept at the varying voice, style, and other characteristics of messaging based on our industry, company, and target audience. Experienced in search engine optimization (“SEO”) and developing cohesive campaigns across all mediums.
Perform edit and review operations: edit and proofread all creatives to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputs. Audit and optimize digital properties for improving SEO, object relational mapping (“ORM”) and branding.
Research and execution: Effective Internet research skill, Help tell HairClub’s brand and product stories through messages and stories. Research and understand the project needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, and interviews with subject matter experts when available. Knowledge of SEO standards as well as WordPress or other content management system (“CMS”).
Manage and ensure effective partnerships: Engage and work with creative vendors and agencies as needed. Work closely with developers, graphic designers, SEO specialists and senior management. Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to ensure accuracy and on-brand verbiage.
Performs other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of modern SEO practices and writing for SEO purposes
- Portfolio of previous design work required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of content writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs
- Strong verbal, written and listening skills

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of communications and client related industry trends
- Excellent organizational skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Direct ad marketing experience
- Effective Internet research skills.
- Comfortable and flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Experienced in SEO and ORM
