Hilliard Office Solutions has an exciting opportunity on our service team for an experienced Copier Field Service Technician in the Midland Texas area. Hilliard Office Solutions specializes in the office equipment, printing, and IT industry. We carry a full line of Konica Minolta, Canon, and HP copiers, full printing services, and provide top-tier IT Managed Services. We provide businesses with the expertise needed to streamline business processes and increase operational efficiency. Duties of a Copier Field Service Technician will include but not be limited to repair, preventive maintenance, and installation of copiers.
Signing bonus of $7,500 with a Konica Minolta Master Certification, A3 and A4 & Production Print Certification. Candidates must be able to provide copies of their certificates. Hilliard Office Solutions will also pay up to $5,000 for relocation for qualified candidates.
The position is located in Midland Texas.
Duties:
- Provides copier repair service to existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedules; investigating complaints; conducting tests; and resolving problems.
- Performs preventative maintenance and repair services on office equipment by analyzing system problems; troubleshooting, ordering, and gathering components and parts; completing installation; and performing tests.
- Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; and recommending system improvements.
- Documents service and installation actions by entering data and, completing reports.
- Works together in a teamwork environment with dispatchers, service managers, and other customer service staff.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Copier Service Technician experience: 3 years (Required).
- Konica Minolta Certified (Preferred).
- Certified in A+ or equivalent training (Preferred).
- Must have experience with HP, Canon, and/or Konica Minolta products.
- Must be adept at using computers and be able to perform basic print and scan connectivity installations.
- Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Working knowledge of computer systems such as Microsoft, and Apple, and common network problems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Superior time management skills.
- Excellent driving record.
- Desire to learn and to continue to advance skills.
- Reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour with bonus options.

Work Location: Training is in the office. After training, work is primarily on the road & in your home office.
