Located in Irvine, CA, use your troubleshooting and hands-on service repair experience to repair and refurbish off-Lease Equipment (i.e. enterprise copiers, MFPs) which are returned to Canon. This is a fast-paced, high volume department where you will make decisions based on guidelines, to determine life expectancy of parts and equipment.
This position requires full-time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s).
- Assess quality of products and report on areas that require service
- Perform in-house troubleshooting to identify issues with equipment
- Service, repair and perform recondition procedures as needed
- Perform advanced firmware updates and security wipe of hard drives
- Perform final cleaning/detailing of devices before sale
- Provide timely communication related to technical or customer service issues
- Prepare reportsfor recondition procedures performed and parts replaced
- Provide efficient, responsive service to customers
- High school diploma or equivalent plus additional technical training equal to 2 years of college
- Knowledge of copier and printer technology with training in service repair environment
- Preferred: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.Canon imageRUNNER Advanced training along with Canon repair certifications
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Basic computer skills, MS Word, Excel, network environments
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
In accordance with Californialaw, we are providing the anticipated hourly rate for this role, if filled in California: $21.27 - 31.85
