ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for supporting the assistant directors of Business Development and marketing personnel in identifying new prospects for the affinity program, travel program, or rental facility. The position will also assist in surfacing ideas for the Seminoles Forever tiered loyalty program. The position will be responsible for assisting with creating and building meaningful relationships with constituents and business partners. The position will also be responsible for performing administrative duties related to fundraising and marketing in an effort to increase the capacity of a growing Association.
Assist with conducting market research to identify new sales avenues to target for the FSUAA facilities, VIRES, and travel programs; Attend community events that directly support new revenue opportunities including but not limited to Chamber events or TOPS events; Source leads within these markets; Surface potential business partners/sponsors for the Alumni Association; Support the development of new revenue opportunities; Work with Assistant Directors to follow up on leads and close deals; Support the development of new opportunities; Assists Assistant Directors in developing reports on growth and new opportunities to stakeholders.
Assist with identifying new, innovative, and effective means of communication with prospective clients and business partners for the FSUAA facilities, the Brick program, the Travel Program, and the Seminole Forever Fund; Draft initial copy for specific campaigns.
Respond to departmental email; Assist the Assistant Director with the administrative process of the brick program.
Serve on the Commencement or other Ad hoc committees in the planning, designing or onsite activation. Protect confidential data and other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor's degree and two years of experience, or a high school diploma or equivalent and experience equal to six years. (Note: post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)
- Florida or Georgia Driver's license or the ability to obtain prior to hire.
