Job Summary:
Prepares meals for residents n accordance to procedures and is responsible for quantity of food prepared and quality of finished product.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks for residents following menus and guidelines provided.
- Prepare serving area, salad bar, and dining rooms prior to meals.
- Record temperatures of food and equipment as required.
- Chart intakes in the main dining room.
- Clean work area and equipment; clean and sanitize dining area and kitchen after each meal; and assigned daily cleaning.
- Do prep assignments and re-stock items to prepare for the next meal.
- Following posted schedule for cleaning major equipment, work areas, and storage areas.
- Preparing trays for serving meals and snacks.
Job Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow basic cooking directions.
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
