Our Team is Our Strength
Do you desire to have a job you love, a workplace that appreciates its employees, and the opportunity to make a positive impact in your community while you work? If your answer is yes, we can’t wait to meet you!
The Sacramento Region Community Foundation is seeking a highly skilled accounting professional with a passion for our mission to join our team as a full-time, temporary Controller. The Controller will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will provide excellent financial and administrative support to the Foundation.
Make a Difference in Our Community – Now and Always.
The Sacramento Region Community Foundation is dedicated to connecting people who care with causes that matter. As the Sacramento region’s primary provider of philanthropic services, we help people who want to give back to their community. By managing their charitable giving, we help donors in El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo counties achieve their philanthropic goals effectively, intelligently, creatively, and confidently.
There are 700 charitable funds held at the Foundation, 70% of which are endowed funds, which are prudently managed to ensure these funds are providing support in perpetuity. Since 1983, the Foundation has been the trusted steward of these charitable funds, which today total $200 million in assets. The Foundation is one of the largest local grant makers in the region with our fundholders who direct grants to support the causes they love anywhere in the country—though most grants are place-based–making a positive difference in the counties we serve: El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, and Yolo.
