Production Control Specialist

Our Production Control Specialist is an integral part of the team here at Olea. They ensure that work orders are released to the manufacturing team in a timely manner, and that the paperwork and information needed to successfully fill the order is complete and readily available to the various teams within our manufacturing department.

Essential duties and responsibilities of this position include:

• Review work order status against due date, investigate past due work orders and resolve with assistance from fabrication supervisor

• Release work orders in the ERP system as required by production schedule
• Maintain manufacturing work orders and update production lists when required by ECOs, NCMRs, and deviations.
• Disposition in process parts per ECO, NCMR, and deviation documentation
• Review and clean up obsolete and aging work orders and work order requirements
• Work with production team to red line and update production lists to ensure accuracy of work orders
• Print work order travelers and pull lists from ERP system
• Assemble work order folders
• Deliver travelers, pull lists, and work order folders to Plant Manager or other required parties

This is a full-time, onsite position in Cerritos, CA. Starting pay for this role is $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, candidates should have the following qualifications:

• Minimum of three years experience in Production Control
• Read, write, and speak fluent English; bilingual English/Spanish helpful
• Disciplined and organized with the proven ability to manage workload with minimal supervision
• MS Office and ERP system experience
• Ability to think proactively and solve problems quickly and with minimal impact to production schedules
• Growth mindset with a passion to learn and reach your full potential
