Position Overview:
As a Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and contributing to the overall success of our senior living communities. This position requires a strategic financial leader with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
• Oversee financial operations, including financial reporting, and forecasting.
• Manage financial policies and procedures to maintain the firm's financial health.
Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, laws, and accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.
Cash Flow Management:
• Monitor cash flow and manage working capital effectively.
• Optimize cash management and liquidity.
Risk Management:
• Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management practices.
• Adhere to internal controls to safeguard company assets and data.
Strategic Planning:
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the firm's goals and objectives.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 4+ years proven experience as a Controller or in a similar financial management role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting management software and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity and ethics in handling confidential financial information.
