An established manufacturer and service provider with operations in several locations is seeking an experienced corporate accounting professional to serve as its Controller. Controller Benefits and Compensation:

• Highly competitive compensation of $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience

Controller Job Duties:

•  Produce consolidated financial statements and presentations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
•  Ensure a timely and accurate month-end close process.
•  Oversee the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and IT operations.
•  Act as key liaison with the outside CPA firm for audit and tax needs.
•  Prepare and maintain work-in-process schedules.
•  Responsible for all cost accounting and analysis.
•  Supervise periodic physical inventory counts.
•  Create the annual operating budget for the company, working with operations as needed.
•  Analyze monthly variances to budget and update monthly forecast.
•  Be responsible for cash management and forecasting.
•  Manage relationships with external parties, including insurance, banking, CPA, and others.

Controller Skills/Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
•  Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is required.
•  Existing controller experience, ideally with 7+ years professional accounting experience.
•  High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel is needed.
•  Experience leading an organization through an ERP conversion is strongly preferred.
•  Critical thinker, strong people leader, and business partner to senior management and ownership.
