- Manage budget and audit processes (financial, federal, and tax returns), including final delivery to Board committees, Senior Management, and applicable governmental agencies.
- Manage close process in Microsoft Dynamics GP and MR financial reporting package preparation for LSSI, Cornerstone Foundation and the Worker’s Comp Trust.
- Manage Annual Financial Governmental Reporting to various Governmental Agencies as well as any Governmental audits that occur.
- Oversee training of LSSI staff throughout the state of Illinois on all aspects of the budget process and accounting processes.
- Identify and resolve accounting theory and financial statement issues with Senior Management, including recommendations on all financial policies.
- Oversee Accounts Payable.
- Oversee fixed asset process including monthly recording of depreciation, purchases, capital project tracking, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance degree with related experience may be considered.
- Master’s degree would be an added plus.
- CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting required, along with a minimum of 5 years of supervisory/management experience in an Accounting Department.
- Proficient in math calculations, including analysis and review, primarily within excel.
- MS Dynamics GP experience preferred.
- Demonstrate creative program planning and collaboration skills.

- Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
