Overview of the Controller role:
- The Controller will report directly to the CFO
- This Controller will oversee all activities of the Accounting department
- Controller will manage 3 direct reports
- This Controller role will be responsible for producing all financials
- The Controller will prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position
- The Controller will work with management to develop and carry out long-term financial goals and plans for major capital investments
Preferred Qualifications for the Controller:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- 10+ years of accounting and finance experience
- Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close processes
- Strong Excel skills
- Healthcare industry experience (+)
