This exciting opportunity to join firmwide Control Management team allows you the opportunity to manage several key control programs across JPM. The Government Claims Program Team provides a consistent framework to effectively assess and understand the risks associated with submission of Government Claims and this team coordinates a consistent approach across all Lines of Business and Functions. Government Claims can arise in a variety of scenarios, including Government programs, regulatory submissions, required reporting, contractual arrangements, or even in cases where the firm is providing services to the US Government, state governments, municipalities, and quasi-Government entities, in the normal course of business.
As a Government Claims Corporate Program Manager in the firmwide Government Claims Program team you will interact with all lines of business and functions daily, to ensure that processes supporting Government Claims are identified, inventoried and assessed for efficiency and control.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Advising on and executing the global Government Claims Program strategy
  • Ensuring the program remains best-in-class by soliciting and incorporating stakeholder feedback, as appropriate
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements governing Government Claims
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert on the Government Claims Program, including interacting with all lines of business, functions, auditors, and regulators
  • Managing the firmwide Government Claims procedure and ensuring compliance with all JPM documentation standards
  • Managing Government Claims Program's book of work, related PMO tasks, related working group, and management meetings
  • Leading corporate and regulatory Government Claims-related projects
  • Partnering with the Government Claims application development and reporting teams to ensure the firmwide Government Claims application and reporting meet customer needs
  • Partnering with the Control Management training team to ensure Government Claims related learning modules meet customer needs
  • Partnering with the Control Management Communications team to develop and deliver Government Claims related communications
  • Designing and establishing with the Government Claims Quality Assurance process to review findings and to prioritize remediation efforts

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 7+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, risk management, or compliance specific roles
