Control Design Engineer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controls Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team. The New Product Introduction group is the front line of developing innovative products in a wide range of industries. We are looking for a Controls Engineer to work in an engineering environment using agile development process. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of gas turbine systems and their operation, as well as expertise in RSLogix Control software. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing control systems for our new and innovative products.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs and design requirements into actionable items to develop and improve the control system
• Collaborate with Field Service Representatives, Business Development, and Supply Chain to understand and solve customer problems
• Develop and update control logic to support system needs
• Create and maintain the Electrical Loop Schematic and controls layout
• Manage bills of material for control systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, STEM, or a related field
• Proven expertise in RSLogix Control software
• Experience with Turbine Systems and their operation
• Experience with Windchill
• Familiarity with TT400 HMI display software
• Experience with PromisE V8i CAD
• Understanding of Standards composite logic library structure and implementation process
