Position Summary:
The Contracting Lead will be responsible for processing all agent contracts and applications to meet agent readiness goals and also serves as a point of contact with insurance carriers to maintain positive carrier relations.
In this role you will:
- Process contracts and licensing for agent appointments with carriers.
- Manage communication with states concerning licensing applications and/or renewals.
- Ensure licensing data submitted is complete and accurate.
- Routinely audit agent licenses to ensure state compliance.
- Track and follow up with the status of agency and agent licenses.
- Respond to carrier requests on the status of submitted documents and address questions, inconsistencies, or missing data from documents submitted.
- Follow proper processes and procedures to ensure timely document turnaround and follow up.
- Manage and update contracts, licenses for agent appointments, and carrier licensing forms.
- Promptly resolve agent questions and concerns.
- Support new carrier and new agent onboarding.
- At least three years of licensing experience working with both carriers and state licensing agencies.
- A high level of bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- A strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
- Experience managing a complex regulatory process in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player and collaborative approach.
