Contracting Lead

Position Summary:
The Contracting Lead will be responsible for processing all agent contracts and applications to meet agent readiness goals and also serves as a point of contact with insurance carriers to maintain positive carrier relations.
In this role you will:

• Process contracts and licensing for agent appointments with carriers.
• Manage communication with states concerning licensing applications and/or renewals.
• Ensure licensing data submitted is complete and accurate.
• Routinely audit agent licenses to ensure state compliance.
• Track and follow up with the status of agency and agent licenses.
• Respond to carrier requests on the status of submitted documents and address questions, inconsistencies, or missing data from documents submitted.
• Follow proper processes and procedures to ensure timely document turnaround and follow up.
• Manage and update contracts, licenses for agent appointments, and carrier licensing forms.
• Promptly resolve agent questions and concerns.
• Support new carrier and new agent onboarding.

A qualified candidate will likely have:

• At least three years of licensing experience working with both carriers and state licensing agencies.
• A high level of bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A strong customer service focus and attention to detail.
• Experience managing a complex regulatory process in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player and collaborative approach.
