Location: Oakland, MD
Schedule: 6:30pm-6:30am, 36 hours/week, 6 week contract
Position Summary:
Our Skilled Nursing Facility in Oakland, MD is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team for a 6 week contract. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility and hold current BLS certification through AHA. This is a full-time position working 12-hour night shifts from 6:30pm-6:30am.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes or abnormalities to the physician
- Provide bedside care and assist with activities of daily living
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
- Document patient care in a timely and accurate manner
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Maryland
- Recent experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- BLS certification through AHA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
