Contract Specialist

The Position:
We are looking for a Contract Specialist located in Orlando, FL, who reports directly to the Group General Counsel.
In this role you will support in the review and management of contractual documents for the Electrosonic team. You will analyze proposals, agreements, and other documents to determine reasonableness of terms in alignment with Electrosonic's standards. You will support in the execution of Design, Systems Integration and Service through the management of client contracts, contractor agreements and support of Purchasing team activities.
Job Description:

1. Draft, review and edit agreements (including sales agreements, vendor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, certificates of insurance, etc.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive contract filing system and computer database, ensuring all records are complete and up to date.
3. Provide administrative support to the Contracts Team (including electronic filing and scanning, conducting legal research, etc.)
4. Coordinate with other departments, as necessary, in the preparation of responses to customer initiated contractual correspondence and maintain close professional interface with other team members.
5. Obtain and issue Certificate of Insurance to Electrosonic clients.
6. Review the terms and conditions on POs from Purchasing.
7. Perform other duties as directed by the immediate manager.
8. Follow Electrosonic health and safety policies and procedures.

3. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information.
4. Ability to interface well with clients and co-workers.
5. Sound business judgment and flexibility/adaptability to manage multiple time-sensitive matters, including appropriately prioritizing among them.
6. Knowledge of current products and trends in audio, video, show control, etc.
7. Ability to work independently.

Qualifications:

1. AA degree with emphasis in business or liberal arts or commensurate experience.
2. 2-3 years of experience in a professional role requiring strong analytic and organizational skills and careful attention to detail
3. Basic understanding of legal terms and conditions, paralegal background preferred.
4. Proficient with computers and standard office programs (e.g. Windows, Excel, Word).
5. Proven problem-solving skills.
6. Experience drafting, revising and negotiating agreements.
