What will I bedoing?

The Area Agency on Aging (AAA) provides meal and transportation services to individuals 60 years of age and older to help them maintain their independence with dignity. Through our community-based contractors, we work with local senior centers to promote a sense of community and a healthy well-being.

The service area includes Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Waller, Walker, and Wharton counties.

This position will be assigned a portfolio of contractors and provide support in the following ways:

u Evaluate and approve eligibility forms for client services

u Perform client data entry in the State information management system

u Monitor contractors' monthly performance goals to ensure target measures are being met

u Ensure data accuracy, compliance in the use of all State forms, and maintain consumer and contractor digital records

u Provide good customer service through regular communication

u Provide guidance and training to community meal and transportation contractors

u Ensure meal and transportation services meet the required Older Americans Act (OAA) guidelines for eligible program services

KeyQualifications

u Extensive case management experience

u Applicable experience may substitute for education

u Ability to work under pressure, under tight deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities

u Strong organizational skills and customer service driven

u Ability to work well with a team

u Extensive knowledge of human services programs preferred

u Proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite of applications

Do you have...

u Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study

u At least 1year of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school or in job related duties
