Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience working in technology and Public Sector within contract management, legal, or similar functions.
- Experience working with contractual terms along with experience in redlining and negotiating agreements.
- Experience with contract types (e.g., FAR and DFARS) during all contracts lifecycle phases.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Google Workspace tools.
- Experience working with US Public Sector or IT infrastructure, cloud, and digital transformations.
- Experience in Public Sector legal negotiations, process improvement, and design, or Public Sector agreement desk.
- Experience in collaborating with executive level cross-functional leaders.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills with knowledge of the key business issues in government contracts.
About the job
The Contracts and Business Operations (CABO) team is instrumental in structuring, negotiating, executing, and managing contracts for GPS. You will have the primary responsibility of managing phases (e.g., Strategizing, Planning, Managing Escalations, Negotiating, etc.) of the contracting process. This role has a specific focus on negotiating and contract drafting, you will be responsible for owning the contract negotiation process, including contract markups and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure contractual language is acceptable to GPS risk profile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Provide contract support to Google Public Sector.
- Assist in managing contracts, support drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and negotiation of a wide variety of contracts, including nondisclosure and teaming agreements, subcontracts, consulting agreements, and statements of work, and vendor agreements.
- Support the negotiation and administration of contracts, including contract development, administration, tracking, and analysis.
- Support proposals on risk identification/mitigation and reviews of contractual documents to ensure the protection of GPS’ contractual posture, satisfaction of government specifications and requirements, and adherence to company policy.
- Collaborate with internal employees and business development/client relationship managers to ensure contract accuracy, and lead and execute cross-organizational initiatives.
