Requirements:
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree
- Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals(ACVREP)Certification
- Minimum 1 year experience in a school setting or working with minors with different impairments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect (consult) Orientation and Mobility support to students with visual impairment
- Provide Orientation and Mobility evaluation and re-evaluation support for students in the region
- Evaluate students progress on an ongoing basis documenting data to be used to update progress
- Collaborate with the teacher of students with visual impairments to conduct the functional vision assessment as it relates to independent travel
- Evaluate students progress on an ongoing basis documenting data to be used to update progress reports
- Other duties as assigned by administration
