SUMMARY:
The Contract Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as develop new, creative recruiting ideas. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible talent.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, pre-screening and video/face-to-face interviews through to candidate offer stage for positions nationwide at DGI Supply
- Schedule all interviews for the hiring managers, conduct interview debriefs and disposition candidates
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinator & HR Business Partner at various stages through the recruitment process in order to create offer letters and perform background/drug tests for potential employees
- Conduct recruiting strategy meetings with hiring managers and build a strong partnership to understand appropriate candidate qualifications
- Develop creative recruiting/sourcing strategies and pipeline of candidates for critical and repeat roles. This will include “cold” & “warm” calling into competitors to source qualified candidates and Internet-based sourcing.
- Provide a high-quality experience for every potential candidate through effective communication and consistent follow-through
- Work cross-functionally and develop strong relationships with hiring managers through strategy meetings, status updates and constant communication
- Ensure information is properly maintained in UKG for reporting purposes
- Assist in providing consulting/training related to compliance with laws and employee practices and standards
- Work with the human resources department as a team to execute key HR programs/goals
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in UKG
- Assist in preparing and sending offer packages and new hire paperwork
- Other duties as assigned
- Contract Recruiter Hourly Range is $30-$45 / hour
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of recruiting experience; preferably a combination of corporate and agency roles
- Experience conducting full lifecycle recruiting with successful track record filling positions
- Strong background and proven experience in sourcing/recruiting professionals of various levels and functions
- Passionate, Adaptable, Customer Focused and Teamwork oriented
- Strong sense of urgency and accountability
- Knowledge of key recruiting and recruiting research tools/skills
- Results-driven and metrics-oriented
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and natural ability to establish trust and credibility
